Welcome to the Lima Hellmouth…

Today is the first day of the new school year, but the corridors are filled with a different noise than the previous year; amidst the slurs, talk of prom, graduation, the upcoming year, is talk of that earthquake from a month ago, and even a little conversation about the recent headlines – the missing persons.

One month ago Lima, Ohio, was wracked by an earthquake. So sudden and fast was the quake that no one could have been prepared, but it lasted for such a short time that damages were minimal…

If only the town knew…

What seemed like an earthquake was actually the rumblings of the Hellmouth below Lima, Ohio, opening up for the first time in over a millennia. In the past month the daily goings on of the town have been getting gradually weirder; some people’s own lives are getting weirder, others are seeing strange faces in the crowds at night…and the unlucky ones don’t make it home. They are drained dry of their life’s blood and turned into dinner – by vampires. With the Hellmouth a beacon for the supernatural energies of this dimension, Lima was in for a Hell of a year…
